whoa pilgrim, that's a foofy west hollywood joint...no offense, but-

ideal if you are a well-to-do 'mo looking to have your way with a runaway teen from toledo....here's some good advice..do NOT enter any bars on 'satan' monica blvd in that neck o thee woods, where, waiting at a red light once, a fully bearded man once lifted his lovely powder blue tutu and flashed me his bits and pieces whilst skipping hand in hand with a latino drag queen, and the streets are littered with village people rejects and tranny streetwalkers at night

if you're really lucky, the timeless phrase "fisting is old school" will sashay nonchalantly like a warm summer breeze from the whispering molestached lips of a hungry man-lover, who just spiked your jack and coke with a pockeful of roofies, honing in on you like richard simmons on a bag of ruffles, and the last thing you remember seeing through the dimming fog is a half empty bottle of baby oil poking out of his daisy dukes-- a nightmarish prelude to an unsolicited and unconscious evening of wrong way romancing.

i just completed a shoot at paramount studios last week and...rampant homosexuality is alive and well in hollywood.
there were several actors and makeup/wardrobe foofers but one of the makeup artists on the shoot may very well be the GAYEST person i have ever met in my life.

there's gay like "ok you're gross but whatever..." gay and then there's "clapping on his tiptoes squealing across the room because somebody is wearing the cutest scarf he has ever seen and then hugs himself spinning as he rubs said scarf on cheek" gay

i've had friends, relatives and business associates that were gay and that's one thing, but west hollywood has some that are determined to be as gay and as outspoken as humanly possible.

yikes!

Pat's schizophrenic, alternating underage gay fantasies/repressed homosexuality-fueled homophobia aside, the hotel I mentioned is a great, quiet place located just two blocks south of Sunset Blvd, near the Key Club, etc. Of course, Pat sees a West Hollywood address and automatically makes some asinine assumptions. What he, of course, fails to realize is that all of West Hollywood is not as he is describing and that many of the hotels already mentioned in this thread ARE actually in West Hollywood. Avoiding Santa Monica Blvd, even in this area, is also, of course, ridiculous as it is home to many killer resturants, bars and clubs including Dan Tana's, The Palm, The Troubador, and one of the coolest bar/grill places in LA, Barney's Beanery, which is walking distance from the hotel I suggested. Yes, there are a couple of specifically gay areas on Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood, however, wherever you stay on Sunset in Hollywood, you'll be just a few blocks away from them. Easy to spot and avoid if you don't want to be around gay people... No big deal... unless you're dealing with Pat's issues, in which case I recommend some type of therapy.

I laughed my ass off at the closing comment!

if you just want a plain room for around 80 a nite, theres a hotel right across the street from GC on sunset, and is right next door to sam ash music. free internet, food and groceries walking distance etc. i stayed there for a week, the staff is cool tell them you will be there for a week and you will get a way better rate

someone is a little defensive
Not at all, but this is exactly the response I'd expect. Responding to your ignorant comments isn't defensive, it's a public service. A responsibility, if you will...
