Not bad. I liked the tune in the OP better than the one in the link. I'm from that area in MI and this reminds me of some of the garage bands we did around there growing up. It's a fuckin bleak place and the music fits.

I'm from that area too. From the hard ass streets of Frankenmuth.

"Fired Chicken Muther Fucker!!!! and a big Muther fucking Chrismas Store!!!!! Chug chug chug YaaaaaaaaHHHHH!

You are a hard ass Bavarian type of gangster.
Bronners or Die bitches!!!

Music like this is but one example of the rampant demoralization of America. It's not just the lyrics, but also the music... It stirs rebellion - no question about it. It's not just secular music, but also so-called "Christian" rock music. In April 1990, a Christian from Zimbabwe, Africa arrived for his first visit to the United States. He is a native missionary under the Awana Youth Association. When he turned on a Christian radio station, he was shocked by what he heard!

Here is his report:
"I am very sensitive to the beat in music, because when I was a boy, I played drums in our village worship rituals. The beat that I played on the drum was to get the demon spirits into the people. When I became a Christian, I rejected this kind of beat, because I realized how damaging it was. When I turned on a Christian radio station in the United States, I was shocked! The same beat that I used to invoke evil spirits, is in the music I heard on the Christian station..."

All fair points. Maybe I'm just hyped on some of the riffs. I do like the evil satanic violent super punchy vibe though.

These guys, like just about all black metal bands, strike me as complete posers. They're just as bad as any glam band back in the day. If they were so bad ass, why are they wasting their time on "music" when they could be robbing and murdering people? It's even more disturbing that they have an audience. I'd move to Flint, or any other crap area if I wanted to see this. I'd much rather listen to someone with talent. ymmv

What is funny about this whole entire thing is your reactions.

THAT is why they got signed to RoadRunner. Not because they are such an amazing band.

It works man.

Look ate Hatebreed. Those guys pretty much were all mediocre at best but they fucked shit up live, had crazy fans, would do crazy shit.

Eg. They played a metal fest type of show, whoever booked it did a horrible job. There were two seperate buildings to house all the bands. When they got there they realized the building they got to play in fit about 200-300 and the other building fit about 3,000.

What did they do? Roll their shit down the street, Take over the show while a band was playing, they set up shop during a bands set, told them to back the fuck up and played.

The sound guy didn't cut them off and people went nuts. They got huge shortly after that.

I guess my point is there are several bands good or bad that are on major labels not because of their music but because they do crazy shit and get the buzz going.

When I go home tonight I am going to remember King 810 and not the band that James Lugo posted and PS my first post in here was nice and trying to be PC.

I fucking hate Korn and I think King 810 sucks.

I think they are great. Your entitled to your opinions, but I just want to rock out.
And for the record satanic metal rules. Or anything evil and scary.

This one took me a little while to understand but wow. One of the darkest/deepest recordings I have heard.

When I first heard Cannibal Corpse I hated it!!!

After a while and few more songs I liked them and Malevolent Creation and a few other Death metal bands.

Totally agree about Satanic evil/scary music. I'm not into The Devil, but I sure love his music.

I loves me da brootaz.
As for promoting violence, exodus has done it for way longer...and as far as writing killer riffs, lyrics and songs they do it way better. But in real life, they are as violent as a sneeze that pulls a back muscle. (See "a non metal moment with exodus" from the shovel headed kill machine tour video). Gary Holt is one of the best riff and lyric writers in metal today. And the drummer for exodus is freaking awesome. The bassist, jack, has killer tone and skills...and he did the recording duties on the new CD...wow, a bassist who you would actually want in your band who contributes more than just the low end.

King 810 are an o.k band I guess, but I doubt anyone standing up there on stage with a gun has any sort of real issues that needed a lawyer, or they wouldn't be drawing attention to themselves. Bet they have to be heavily vetted for insurance purposes...tho I doubt those guns onstage are anything more than props. Yes, flynt Michigan is a dangerous place. But so is Compton. The tough guys on stage are a gimmick that obviously works or we wouldn't be talking about them...cause there are a ton of bands doing this same type of metal ad nausieum.

Were also talking about a fan base that likely bought In This Moment's new album or as I call them, The Maria Brink Ego Trip Extravaganza. Idiots buy hype and then buy records because of hype. There's likely a ton of people out there that see the completely asinine image this band has tried so hard to create and think "fuck yah dude, this band is hardcore because they like guns"

Hmm, sad.

I take it you were never brought up in a home that taught morals and the difference between right/wrong? Basically a "anything goes" type of up bringing? (I'm not bagging on you, just curious.)

I take it you were brought up in a home of judgemental Christians.
