Hmm, sad.

I take it you were never brought up in a home that taught morals and the difference between right/wrong? Basically a "anything goes" type of up bringing? (I'm not bagging on you, just curious.)

Oh my fucking god! Are you kidding me? Morals? Right and Wrong? What the hell does that have to do with liking silly satanic metal or scary shit? Backhanded religious judgment anyone? There's no god or satan. If there was there'd be a billion judgmental Christians burning in hell right now.

This ones for you pal.

How about this one thrown in for good measure. SLAYER  :rawk:

Ok seriously, like what you want as long as the music is honest. This music isn't honest, it's not written with heart and soul. It's thrown together by a bunch of guys trying to make money with a gimmick. The fact that these guys are popular, selling records, playing huge fests, playing in support of big tours and so on with a product that is so low brow and that was most certainly written and arranged in a couple of weeks with little to no effort all offends me as a musician and a music listener. Especially when there's thousands of more deserving and more passionate bands full of guys that dedicate a ton of time and effort into their personal skills and their songs alike. This is not personal jealousy because I've done the touring lifestyle and it's not for me anymore but I can name about 200 bands just off the top of my head that should be where this band is. So when I talk shit about this band, I do so for good reason. You want guys that look hardcore and are hardcore, look at Terror, Agnostic Front, Madball, Hazen Street, Cromags, Sick of it all, Biohazard, Strife and the piles of other bands that don't just pretend to be hardcore and from the streets but instead are actual tough guys from tough areas that I am sure King810 would cower if they saw coming down an alley.

99% of the time I can always come up with a good thing to say about a band or artists even if I don't like the music. I normally respect something about everything but King810 is in the 1% that is just pure, plain and simple... SHIT.

What is funny about this whole entire thing is your reactions.

THAT is why they got signed to RoadRunner. Not because they are such an amazing band.

No it's not. People that don't like them won't buy the records. They were signed to RR because RR knows the exact formula to sell a subpar band to a fanbase made up mouthbreathing morons. Once the morons move onto the next trend, RR will drop King810 in a heartbeat like they have dropped many before them and move onto the next trend. RR does have some quality artists that pay the bills but slushy trend shit like this pads the books.

Okay......
I get it now, none of you guys that jumped on me would have a problem with your own children worshiping satan, because there is nothing wrong with that. Ok, I've got it now.

I have been listening to Slayer since I was 12 years old and I've never even been curious about worshipping satan, I have also been listening to Cannibal Corpse since I was 14 and I haven't killed anyone either. My parents never worried because they knew they didn't raise a complete idiot.

Not bad. I liked the tune in the OP better than the one in the link. I'm from that area in MI and this reminds me of some of the garage bands we did around there growing up. It's a fuckin bleak place and the music fits.

I'm from that area too. From the hard ass streets of Frankenmuth.

"Fired Chicken Muther Fucker!!!! and a big Muther fucking Chrismas Store!!!!! Chug chug chug YaaaaaaaaHHHHH!

You are a hard ass Bavarian type of gangster.
Bronners or Die bitches!!!

Bintz Apple Mountain mothafucka! Where people on flat land go to ski and be hard! We gots hills bitches! It's gangsta!

For real though. It's music. Don't get it twisted. Reza liked it because it provided him with a feeling, which is all music is supposed to do. You listen to Slayer/Pantera/Death/Exodus and you get pumped and wanna jump and break shit, or it proves an impetus for you to write a sick new riff in a style you wouldn't have before you heard it.

You listen to some Annie Lennox/Sade/whoever with your woman, different feelings, just as valid.

Everybody bitching about 'musical integrity' and whether or not these guys deserve success or not is missing the point. The only opinion that matters is the guy listening to whatever and digging it. Just because it doesn't sound like Pantera or Lynch or EVH doesn't mean it's bad. Just different. Who gives a fuck about their image. It's music and you listen to it...way too many people get caught up in who a band is and what they look like or talk about in interviews. How many people knew what Zeppelin looked like when they heard the first song from em? Or the Allman Brothers, or Ozzy or whoever? Who gives a shit what these guys talk about in interviews? The ever increasing pervasiveness of modern media weirds me out. I don't care what a band's religious or political views are simply because it has no bearing on my listening experience. The first time I heard Slayer I just thought it was heavy ass riffs and Satanism never crossed my fuckin brain, because who gives a shit? People that blame music for crimes are the same people that blame kids for doing violent things because of video games.

These guys are gonna sink or swim on talent alone...image can only get you so far. Anybody remember Crazytown? Didn't think so. They'll be gone soon enough.

If the tunes move you then listen. If they don't, then don't. Buncha haters up in here.

As long as you don't post any Foo Fighters clips, I'm good to go!

Every day that goes by without hearing a Foo Fighters compostition, is a very good day! :)

I'm not offended as a Christian by bands like Slayer etc.... I'm offended as a musician.

Who wants restrictions anyway when it comes to music?

To each their own. If you want to play the top 40 then do your thing.

IMO dark and evil music is the deepest, most meaningful and most talented music that there is next to some classical composers.

You do not have to worship the devil to enjoy truly amazing music.

As long as they don't burn any churches down or eat human brains, satanic lyrics doesn't factor into the music.

No incorrect. You are either listening to Christian music, no religious base, or satanic music. You can't listen to riffs without listening to the lyrics, they go hand in hand.

I'm not going to criticize satanic music that it shouldn't be allowed, because I'm a firm believer of the 1st amendment. But... I can say I think in my opinion it's crappy. :D

You can listen to the lyrics but do you really care what they say as long as they work? Motley Crue Shout at the Devil anyone? These guys were a long way off from Satanists. So what is King Diamond? He sings about all sorts of stuff... half the time i don't care about marionette doll or old possessed grandma he is singing about. I just can't get enough of Andy Laroque's riffing. Anyway, don't worry, I agree, most devil lyric centric bands suck. I was just protecting the 1st amendment right as you did (and i am not even American)

Can you even understand the lyrics from those bands that sing satanic lyrics? I sure in the hell can't so I enjoy the punishing riffs and the music!! AND ALL HAIL THE KING!!!

Rig Talk... Where Satanists meet!

Music is art, and not everyone likes the same art. Not my thing but some of the dark metal my kid listens to isn't either. But I don't criticize him for it....its all about individuality. Luckily we live in a country that promotes free speech...

Don't care for 'em... Slipknot has went to piss as well and relies more on impressing the kiddies by saying devil every two seconds than making crushing riffs... At The Gates just released their first album in like twenty years... They're one of the pioneers of melodic death metal type stuff and they're just evil b/c they're just evil lol... I've been wearing out the track "Death And The Labyrinth" Really tasty ENGL Savage brootz
