King 808: Listened to the track 3 times. Heavy sick shit. If I was having a crap day, this would be cranked on the drive home. Surprisingly, found the lyrics to be like a horror movie, which I dig.

Crazy tricked out bikes and big dudes you do not want to look at the wrong way. Anyway, always good people running the venue, super nice people to hang with before and after the show, some of the best times.

Foo Fighters: You may not like the music, but you have to admit that Dave Grohl not only once, but twice, was part of some music that connected with a ton of people. What artist, musician, song writer wouldn't want that? Besides Fugazi...

...we are talking about these bands and they are certainly not talking about us.

Dave Grohl and the FF is one of the best things to come into music this past decade for sure.

Foo Fighters have had lots of great stuff thru the years.
But if you dont like it....then you dont like it I guess. Each their own.

I'll give Dave credit for trying to keep rock alive, but FF are hit or miss to me. He just needs to put down the guitar and get his ass back behind the drums where he belongs. Phenomenal drummer... mediocre guitar player at best.

Their posters would have been prominently displayed on my younger sister's bedroom walls, amongst the likes of Shawn Cassidy, Leif Garrett, The Bay City Rollers, and Donny Osmond. Their albums would have been in constant rotation on her turntable, which would have lead to my repurposing them into Frisbees, or vinyl pigeons for a pellet gun skeet shoot.
I don't know Dave personally, but he does come across as a really cool guy. That doesn't change the fact that FF music is formulaic to the point of predictability. I don't begrudge him any success, but the savior of rock he aint.
