So, I got tired of lugging around my pedalboard (too heavy) and realized I am using the same FX for years already, so, this is what I did:

The pedalboard as it used to look like:

that's it guys ... it's a slow friday at my job, so I thought it would be a good idea to share this with you.
CHEERS!

Cool Idea! it turned out good, do you have a before and after weight?

thats insanely kool man. totally original and badass !

I love seeing this kinda stuff man way to put out!!
haha, awesome job though I like your take on the project

Looks awesome man! Did you get any increase in hum due to changing the enclosures? Anyway, really cool, love it!

That is sweet. It is really well done and looks great. My only setback with doing something like this is my addiction to trying new pedals. You'd have to be pretty married to a certain pedalboard to go through all this trouble. The end result is fantastic, though. Great job!

kudos!

that is absolutely amazing =0 really impressive, very cool project

have people asked if it's true bypass yet?

fucking amazing!
you could build pedal boards like that for a nice chunk of change I'd bet.

fucking awesome. open up your own boutique custom pedalboards shop and mark it up 600%. hahah.

Thanks a lot for your words guys.

It was too much work and I guess I would have to charge a shitload of money to make it worth, so I'm not planning to do another one anytime soon... :D

About the noise, at first I had some hum due to the cheap P.S. I was using (that didn't show when the pedals were in their individual cases), that's why I installed the BBE, and it totally killed every unwanted noise.... now it's dead silent. I highly recommend the Supacharge ... universal voltage is also a big plus.

Thanks again for your words!

Weight: the old pedalboard, closed, was 12 Kg (sorry, I don't know how many lbs that is)
The new one, (I have a soft case for it), closed, weighs barely 7 kg
My back really thanks me

Hey Chaos, Very nice job!!! To me, this looks like it was very inspired by many of the Pedalboards of Pete Cornish. If it wasnt, you should check out his work...

That looks like it was pretty friggin labor intensive!!! How sturdy is it? can it withstand the rigors of gigging? can it withstand some jagoff spilling beer on it?

I always loved that Idea and you did an incredible job, Kudos to you!!!
