Any of you guys roll your own..... amps?
Here is my rig-o-da-evening..
The tube preamp is a homebrewed, dual 12AX7 unit, roughly based on a Silvertone 1482 schematic. First tube is both triodes in Parallel, then tone stack, into the next gain stage, then to a cathode follower.
The amp head is a self designed unit. push-Pull 6AK6 power section (3 screaming Watts of wall crumbling power at full tilt!) Preamp is a 2 gain stage, with optional Cascode for "higher" gain and option to put C130 in parallel triode mode.
Dumping it into a Weber Mini-Mass 50 Watt load, line out to my Joyo Cab Box Cab Similar/IR Loader for a non wife disturbing experiance...
Joyo feeds my Mixer with Alesis SR-16 drum machine and Novation MiniNova synth. Mixer runs into a Focusrite 2i2 and into Cakewalk on my laptop
