I am liking that Brootalz amp. I wasn't sure at first, but I am liking it much better with the boost on, and then the gain dialed back.

The Angle Severe amps are cool as well.

I am also finding the powerful ability of that "CF Comp" knob. I never really used it before, but I am finding it REALLY helps getting better balance out of my baritone 7-strings. Turn that knob up a tiny bit, and my top string comes back into the mix. Without it and it seems like my top string is like 4 times quieter than the strings next to it.

Its weird because my global noise gate was already at 0. I didnt have to change it



I have never been much of a fan of the direct sounds of anything, but the last few updates I have not even bothered to turn on my power amp and cab. Been running mostly through monitors. I guess it is finally getting to the point where it is good enough I guess I need to start checking more IR's. It definitely seems like the focus will be on these for the future.

Just curious, what monitors are you using? I had some Rokit 5s years ago but didn't really like them too much. I need to get something because I don't like the headphones much.

I still have my Triple Rectifier. I have had it for years. I am starting to think about selling it though to get a Matrix or something because I am never using it anymore.

I have some older M-Audio SP-8's. I have had those for years also, lol. They sound pretty good, just not very bass heavy. I have had a lot of the same studio stuff for a long time, since I have always liked Synths, Samplers and other noise making stuff.
