How Did You Get Saved?

You’re a good sport.

However, you’re just another in a very long line of people who have been saying that “Jesus is coming back real soon; for real this time. No seriously, this time he’s definitely coming back”.
This is true, your on the money. But like I said the revelation 12 sign happened. It was a extremely rare and complex astronomical alignment that I and many others believe perfectly matches revelation 12 verses 1 and 2.

Tell me more about this William Blake painting in the sky. I’m honestly intrigued because it’s always been my understanding that astrology is a huge no-no among your god’s chosen.

Astronomy not astrology. God says in genesis let the stars/planets be for signs ,seasons, days and years.

How do we know it happened back then?
We're talking long before man had any abilities to witness/record/confirm something like that.

Is this just another religious teapot?
Way above my pay grade but probably stellarium or some other software.

How soon? Share your wisdom.

Also, tell us more about this eternal torment that the eternal and everloving father is going to dole out.
You would not understand it if I told you because you don't have the spiritual discernment given only to born again Christians which is necessary to understand scripture. GOD has turned you over to a reprobate mind so you are under a delusion and cannot see anything clearly.

Christians, we have been granted to know the secret knowledge of GOD, but He has blinded your eyes because you refuse to believe no matter how much proof or conviction of conscience.

Matthew 13, "Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given."

John 12, "He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them."

2 Thessalonians 2, "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie."

Ephesians 4, "Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:"

The saddest, most tragic part of all is that you will have no excuse before GOD at judgement. You will not have Jesus to advocate for you (which is the ONLY way to be saved), and you will get a glimpse of the immaculate beauty of heaven before you are cast into the darkness and torments of hell for eternity. Jesus said in hell "the worm never dies," which is the unbearable eternal regret and sorrow you will feel for eternity knowing heaven was at your grasp and all you did was spit at iI. You will quickly go from the sweet fragrance of heaven to the stench of hell, which is so powerful that it will literally sear your nostrils.

In fact, the following verses predicted you and describes you and the other godless antagonists perfectly. It even lists all the ungodly, foul attributes you all have displayed in this thread.

Romans 1, "Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse."

v28-32, "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
"

In the end, you will have been warned and instructed directly by GOD'S faithful servant (me) and it was all because of one tragic mistake you make. This verse will echo so loudly in your mind that it will cause you to tremble uncontrollably. Remember it:

2 Thessalonians 2, "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved."

Lucky for you all, I will pray for your souls, even though you curse and ridicule me, so that you might be saved.

You got the cart in front of the horse.
You only get ridiculed cause you came in here saying stuff like this.

Adding the preface LUCKY FOR YOU ALL is about as un-Christian as it gets.

Your Jesus complex is coming through again. :D

1. Love your God with your whole heart, soul, mind, and strength.
2. Love your neighbor as your self.
Beautiful scripture, but one terribly misused by charismatics. Remember to ALWAYS include the rest of that verse because it shows the requirement that goes along with it:

"On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

This means we keep GOD'S commandments (that is, do not sin) because our love for GOD is greater than our children and ourselves. That's why David said this to GOD in Pslam 51, "
Against You, You only, have I sinned, And done this evil in Your sight"

The importance of not sinning and keeping GOD'S commandments is very clear in scripture:

John 14, "He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me"

1 John 2, "Whoever says, 'I know Him,' and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."

1 Corinthians 15, "Sober up righteously and do not sin, for some have ignorance of God. I speak to your shame."

John 8:11, "go, and sin no more."

John 5:14, "Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee."

The rest of that verse is extremely important and cannot be excluded.

Is that so? Then where in this thread did you ever show goodwill towards me? Nope, all you do is spew vitriol. I showed you benevolence but you have only showed the opposite towards me. You humiliate yourself because you just made it evident that YOU are "as un-Christian as it gets." You fail again.

By the way, of the numerous times I said to define what a Christian is, you repeatedly failed to do so. Do you not understand how ignorant and pathetic it is to throw around terms you can't even define? Go ahead, teach us all what a Chrisitan is.

Here's a quote from Hippocrates that you should learn so you might realize your own ignorance:

"There are, in effect, two things, to know and to believe one knows; to know is science; to believe one knows is ignorance."

Didn’t know I needed to type up a thesis paper. Salvation is this:

1. Hear
2. Believe
3. Repent
4. Confess
5. Baptism
6. Live faithfully until death, obeying God’s commands.

That is it in a nutshell.
