I played the Savage 120 and owned the original Powerball. Since then they have come out with new amps and revisions of old amps. How are they these days?

The Ironball is a lot of fun, but I don't know how it would do as a gigging amp.

Never got tp try the Invader II price kept me away. If I could find Invader 100 cheap I'd pick one up. I had the 150.

Right now the Friedman Small Box is the coolest amp on the planet for me.

With a Gold Version Zendrive no problem. A Bogner Wessex is my main OD.
I'm using the Smallbox in a Priest tribute band. Ive used so many amps in the last 2 years my heads spins thinking about it.
It takes a boost great and needs it for the heavier stuff.

I just got an Engl Extreme Aggression Fireball 100... It has become my fav amp of all time. It's almost a year now n just a brutal tight amp. I don't miss my Herbert since I got this.

The Engl Steve Morse is a beast of an amp. I owned a Powerball and didn't care for it. A buddy has a Steve Morse and it is an awesome amp!!

I played an Engl Sovereign combo in a GC a few weeks ago, it wasn't bad at all. It's supposed to be one of their lower gain models but it still had plenty of gain. The thing with Engl is if something goes wrong with it, who fixes it? Those amps like look science projects inside.

It worked great for the tech death band I was in but it's lack of versatility and a shared EQ with the clean channel made me trade it off for a Jackson SL2MAH
