How Great Was Cheap Trick?

Loved them in their prime.

Zander in his prime is easily one of the most underrated vocalists in rock. Saw them three times during their 70's/80's headlining era and oddly enough with all three different bassists lol. Peterson, Comita and Brant.

Comita even wrote a couple of my fav CT tunes in "Reach Out" and "I Can't Take it No More".

I really didn't appreciate them back in the day. I was too wrapped up in everything EVH or SRV.

But, I really like listening now that I am older.

They were great. I (aong with many others) discovered them when they toured with Kiss in 1977ish. Went to the Kiss concert at the Montreal Forum and came back also loving Cheap Trick! Then I saw them with Graham Parker at the Montreal Forum a few years later and regretfully haven't seen them since. I'm sure they'd still be amazing and unique

I loved them back in the day, but I saw them open for Motley Crue probably in tvd late 90s or early 2000s and they played their whole whatever the current record was at the tome and then a short medley of like three of their greatest hits, my buddy and I were so let down. We wanted to see the classics.
