How Great Was Cheap Trick?

Love cheap trick. Started listening to them after I watched Fast times at Ridgemont High.

But really, minus the lack of solos, the guitar is amazing. Great riffs and chords progressions, with killer raw tone. The only guitarists that scratches that itch for me in the same way as AC/DC, but with some Beatles pop nuance. Love em.

I grew up near Rockford, my best friend growing up his older sister was Zanders GF during the Budokan craze. When the band was at his house i was sworn to secrecy.
I stayed true to my friend but that was alot of pressure for a teen.
CT was about the hottest thing running for a long time.
 
My first album ever was Live at Budokan. They had some great songs. I saw them with Alice Cooper and was a great show. Last year saw them open for Heart and they were showing their age and wasn't as good.
