How's the Wizard amps loop?? Are they parallel?? Or serial??

Looks like parallel when I see the pictures. I use noise gate in the loop except the Larry PMM. Do you guys use noise gate with Wizard amps?? Or is it quiet enough without noise gate?

I wish larry was series. That is what you need for a gate. So any high gain amp SHOULD be series, especially if it says "metal" in the name

Yeah, I prefer series to parallel. Fortunately Larry is quiet enough even without noise gate. But, it would be better if it was series.

I was playing a recently acquired VH4 with my 10 band eq in one of the two loops. Was thinking it didn't sound as good as I'd hoped. Turned out I was in the parallel loop. Switched to the series loop...much better.

Just saw your other question in OP. I didnt use gate on wizard. Even boosted. It was that quiet. But i think the hellrazor has a little more need.

@RedB4Black used gates on them, and it was quiet just like any amp with well designed loop

I have my wizards running through a KHE switcher with a Fortin Zuul always in the loop. It's dead silent. The HR is the one that probably needs it most, the others can get by without, but you still get some normal hum...which is what I use the gate to silence.
