I appreciate my life thread

Self worth and mentally challenging things can be found after work. It's the people that have no interest in hobbies etc and only find meaning in their work that often decline quickly. Today I'm building a NAS and tidying up my MP3 collection. Other days I'm baking sourdough, making raising toast, bagels and stuff like that. Then motorcycle rides in the country with the a group of riders once or twice a week. Not to mention guitar - my ears are damaged now but I taught myself Chet Atkins and TE style thumbpicking after I retired - never had the time for that type of practice. Bingo/Trivia at the club once a week with friends as a social outing. Out with the wife for lunch once a week. Church on Sunday, Bible studies during the week. Roasting coffee once a week. Washing cars, bikes, gardening.... IT support for my elder parents... I don't know how I found time for work.

True success IMO and thank you for your service.

iMO a persons success isn't measured by their accomplishments strictly but by the positive impact they make on the places and people around them. I can say you've had a positive impact in my life and countless others thanks to your character as an example and service to our country.

Cheers OP and here is to your success in life and here is to you and your family and friends *_*

Well...you're fucked as you've had NO positive impact on people...you generally just shit them by your incoherent repeat ramblings. 🤮

Stop being an ass kisser...I can see your feet hanging out of Macher's asshole. 😉

It's not the bingo/trivia that makes it fun - it's the people you are with doing it!

The coffee is out of this world! - it's so worth it! Every morning better than cafe coffee - so good!

I fully intend on travelling shortly - we have a good budget for that every year too. Maybe 1 overseas trip a year and a couple of short domestic ones.
