I Bought a Bass

I'll tell you a nice shortscale bass I had, it was the Squire Jag bass, the hardware was not the best but, overall the intonation was spot on. It was not bad.

I currently have a Jag and a Mustang short scale. They're both okay. I never bonded with short scale basses. Ironically they both have flats on them.

I have a Ric 4003 in Fireglo, an Ibanez Ergodyne EDA900, Ibanez SRF700 4-string fretless that I call the "shitburst" due to the color, and my main bass, an Ibanez EHB1005F 5-string fretless, headless

I have a lot of basses. 3 really great ones. ‘74 4001, 2015 Spector Euro (Starr) and a late 90s American Deluxe J bass.

I got back into fretless again a few years ago, only reason I have so many now, two fretless, one 4-string, one 5-string, and the two fretted 4-strings.

I sold my original 4-string Steinberger XL2 last year, I owned it since new, early/mid '80s

My Spector is essentially an NS-2. NS standing for Ned Steinberger.
