Not sure if Ivermectin was effective against Covid, but Indo remember it being ridiculed as horsepaste at the same time the CDC required all refugees entering the U.S. be administered Ivermectin.Remember when India virtually eliminated Covid with ivermectin and the west was ridiculing it as horse paste?

The problem with ivermectin is that Joe Rogan said it was good, and anything he says instantly sounds retardedNot sure if Ivermectin was effective against Covid, but Indo remember it being ridiculed as horsepaste at the same time the CDC required all refugees entering the U.S. be administered Ivermectin.

The non-horse ivermectin you’re referring to is for parasites. Not covid. Not sure if Ivermectin was effective against Covid, but Indo remember it being ridiculed as horsepaste at the same time the CDC required all refugees entering the U.S. be administered Ivermectin.

LOLYou are correct with regards to it being used for.parasites. The trouble is there were doctors, such as Sanjay Gupta, derisively referring to Ivermectin as horse paste in general. This is extremely irresponsible of a medical doctor as this could lead those who need it for it's on label purpose to reject it based on irresponsible generalized derision of a useful medication. The non-horse ivermectin you’re referring to is for parasites. The reason for the no-go on the ivermectin is simple. Rural dummies hear “ivermectin” then go out to the barn, grab the horse medicine and give it to little asthmatic Bobby Sue. Any public statements were always qualified with “consult your physician” anyways. You are correct with regards to it being used for.parasites. As far as efficacy in the treatment of Covid, the only studies done with ivermectin were with it being used alone. It was acknowledged by the medical community that treating Covid would require a multi-drug approach (Paxlovid, the approved treatment, is a combination of drugs) therefore, the studies done would show ivermectin as having no therapeutic value in treating Covid.
When ivermectin, hydroxychlororiquine, and other potential treatments were being used, there were no other treatments and no vaccines. Some MDs, using their years of training and experience, used drugs off label in an effort to treat a disease which had no established standard of care.
Off label uses of prescription medications are commonly accepted and used by the mainstream medical community.
TL/DR: suck my horse paste
