I didn’t make it home

Got a couple real nice Alts from the Pick Your Own Part type Yards last time I went. They were like $35 bux..

I did a power steering pump in a BP station once. I walked to the parts store and got the part, and a buddy came and helped me do it. We pulled the pulley off in the store when we did the core exchange. They weren't happy.

I bought a gun that day (FNX9), and the pump seized right as I was leaving the lot.
Nice gun 🔫 Man of class 🤌🏽

I would take that over the crack den I died in front of yesterday. I parked in the type of neighborhood where people care why a guy is sitting in his car in front of your house.

Well thanks for telling us the tow truck didn’t break down or get in an accident and you made it home safe…. Great communication.. you can’t do this to us brother…

The only gear in the car was the Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man Pedal I grabbed from the spot. I have a box of CDs in the back from my old guitarist and I dividing up the last of the empire that was my old band. I thought about grabbing them, but I don't really care if they get stolen. That's the type of thief would grab, open the box, and then pit back because it's not worth carrying.

Glad you weren’t rolling with your dumble sss … lol seriously glad you make it back hope you get your car troubles ironed out.

I once needed a tow. Then while riding in the tow truck, the entire exhaust fell out from under the tow truck. I had to help a non English speaking dude lift this giant heavy ass hot exhaust 20’ long onto the flat bed under my truck in the middle of traffic at night. That was one of those days you wished you stayed home.

Omg… what a nightmare lmao you see Bezo- I was straight bullshitting but apparently anything can happen ☝🏽 🤣

Yep. Got ahold of the shop first thing this morning. They're going to get me rolling again, but it will cost over a grand. Granted, I put the cheap parts on last round and it stranded me. The second alternator I'm putting in it is going to be the fucking good one. No more cheap parts for the tour bus!

At that price, make sure it's an actual OEM Honda alternator.

I was on a road trip when I was about 18 or 19. BAMN! CRASH!!!! WTF? Wake up in a parking lot realizing I had left the car idling for however many hours while I got some rest. The fan that cools the engine broke off the waterpump and went through the shroud and radiator. Parked next to me were a couple of empty (luckily) police cars as I had my weed pipe sitting in the center console and my car smelled like it. The guy from the parts store that was within walking distance from where I was in Issaquah helped me replace it all. Moral of the story: next time just show them a little cleavage and it you'll get a discount.

Good advice. I'll give that a try. I'll unzip my pants a bit and tie my shirt up when I go to pick it up. Maybe he'll give me a discount.

Finally got my ride back. It cost me two paychecks. I had a good cry and then went to Guitar Center, the place where sad old men go to cope. I fit right in. I helped another sad old man decide between two Taylors. I feel better now.

Listen...there's a special guest in this one that if you know you'll know instantly who it is. One of my early heros.

Thought it kind of applied.
