A mini pedal with the flattest pancake jacks on sides has the same lateral footprint on your pedalboard as a regular pedal with the jacks on top. Using a mini pedal only saves you space vertically.

Just thought I would share.

Well, it's either all top jacks or all side jacks. Mixing them is a fucking abortion.

I'm going the opposite direction. The top jacks are the way to go. Easier to route cables and layout a pedalboard.

pedalboard assembly was never fun for me...and why I gravitated to MFX; I have a Boss GX-100 I use for effects, sold my HX-FX, and replaced it with a Fractal VP4 which has the Allan Holdworth parallel delays I've been seeking for years. The only cables are for 4CM, and a MIDI to TRS cable/adapter for channel switching.

I get my gain from the amp; so an EQ, Comp, Chorus (on clean channel), and Envelope Filter (on clean channel), are what I'd use in front. The VP4 also has Pitch Block to widen the tone, and parallel routing to combine wet and dry for a fuller sound. I hate reverb, rarely use phasers, so post is usually delays, maybe a post EQ.

The Korg Pitchblack Mini has little feet that swing out to stabilize it. That was the good one.

The rest are just annoying.

They really are. I just replaced my TSMINI with a TS808 and it's so much more solid to stomp on.
Oh and broooo hahahaha. I fucking LOVE my Phase 95. It's definitely doing what I want the most out of my own phaser shootout. But I fucking hate the enclosure. So I just wound up getting a Phase 90 script lol.
