I muat have jist woke from a coma. Why the F**k are some ESP guitars in the $6000 to $10000 range???

[Shevek]

I appreciate the vote of confidence but prices are only going up man

Golden era mocks, biches, and warlocks are all in the "down payment for a house" price range now

It does seem insane. But I bet either prices come down, or alternatively your financial situation will one day have you in a position to make your dream a reality. You got this, broski.

My first thought when I read the thread title was "because they dont want to sell any...."

[Rackman]

Or they want to match the demand to their supply and grow profits without having to expand. It's a conservative, low risk strategy. If they don't sell at $6K they can always find a way to backdoor them out cheaper. But if instead you drop the price and raise demand you have to add production capacity, and then if the economy goes to shit you're at risk of colapse.

Man I had no idea that new ESP’s were so much, and that used ones are pretty expensive as well.

In 2019 I scored a ‘98 ESP Sunburst Horizon in a pawnshop for $320 OTD.

It looked just this model in the pic. I sold it a few months ago later for $700 .

I guess I should have held on to it, as I held it would go up so much in value.

I'll always consider myself a nobody until I own a Hollywood USA made Viper, a PRS core model, or a JAMES TYLER GUITAR. I would add Suhr to that list, but they have ugly headstocks.

You know what pisses me off? When a guitar has a Fender headstock, but they didn't finish the job. Take for example, these listings. Why was the headstock not painted blue to match? They often do this, but they stopped short on these two guitars. Laziness.
