I've been using my Bluguitar Amp1 Iridium for the past months. I love it. It sounds great. It does sound and "feel" tube-like to me.
My 6505+ has been sitting there for about a year so I decide to fire it up. I immediately noticed, it has this fuzzy, hairy texture on the lead channel for chugs. I wouldn't call it fizzy, but fuzzy.....and hairy. Not annoying or unpleasant, but it's there; some may argue it helps cut through a mix....I don't know! fwiw I didn't mess with the dials, I just used it how I left it last. Not too trebley. I'd say it was boomier and bassier than the Iridium but again that could've been how I had it dialed.
One of these days I want to record some clips for RT. I just have to get my lazy ass down in the significantly colder basement.
I've no clips now but I just wanted to share my initial thoughts about that!
