awesome clip!

the new coyote quicktime clip? that is the coyote set for rock...treble volume at 7, mid cut, low sensitivity, hotplate at -8....it sounds even meaner through a 4x12

my kingdom for:

ch1 = fender clean
ch2 = two rock dumble/SRV tones
ch3 = mojave crunch w/ a cameron modern switch
ch4 = eggie lead

I love your vids because they're better picture quality than most of the stuff on tv!

my little sony isn't bad--NBC used this exact camera all over the iraq war for quality in a small package--- and in DVCAM mode it's very broadcast-ready, but the audio in the newer panasonic cams kill it.
i used the newer panasonic HVX-200 hi def cam last week on a shoot and it was excellent.

some lower budget programs on tv try to do the "film look" and either get stroby/jittery, or too muddy and dark, but some nat geo, discovery and higher end sitcoms do it with great success.

Pat,
The new Coyote clip is killer. I can see your pedal board in the vid, but what are you using to drive the Coyote into brown land?

Uh, HELLO? I remember when you came into my store sometime in the mid to late 90's. Let's just say that grunge was already dead by that time and you were still wearing spandex. During the day. While going to guitar shops. Black and yellow tiger stripe pants, a red and black leopard spotted shirt, a rising sun bandana around one thigh, fishnet forearm warmers and a single white leather glove.

You may fool someone as far away as Europe, but some of us have met you and it's all spandex, all the time.... still! :rock:

:lol: :LOL:

barber tone press compressor hitting the tonebone classic, which gives the ability to be fuller sounding and more touch sensitive without having to drive either effect too extremely

then replex->gforce->amp

oh trust me my molten metal comrade, i wore some *fun-kay* doo dads in my time, but spandex was not one of them!

but the guys i used to mix sound for back in the day at cal state fullerton were spandexoholics....here was a show i mixed for jeff scott soto in his heydey right after the yngwie years:

i was totally inspired today by how easy it is to shred on this amp!

i've never even thought about trying to record a clip of this song because it's one of those deals where unless you nail it it's not even worth doing, but i was closer than i've been in a long time to some of the harder bits, so without further ado...

eggie-ruption

tyler strat->channel 4, with a replex and a BBE 482 (gasp) in the loop, into an EV 1X12 cab!!!

not really trying to clone VH brown sound on this one, just shredding for fun! :rock:

Smokin! :rock:

Dude! Is that Soto's band L'Amour? I'm pretty sure it is. I saw him right after he left Yngwie in that band and he had Brian Young (also a Mojave user) on guitar. That definitely looks like Brian and Brians old Charvel. Brian freaking ripped. I guess that's why he was in Atomic Punks for years and then was David Lee Roth's guitarist for a few years too. I wonder what he's doing now? Probably had to sell his Mojave to buy Top Ramen.
