I Really Miss This Guy...

Alexi Laiho...Man I miss this guy: Great balance of old school almost 80's like riffs and new school "modern" metal approach with almost "pop-esque" choruses. Very tight playing and great Marshall crunch tones:

I loved teaching his songs . I still think his playing is so cool and fast and tasteful on this this . I actually prefer the first couple albums . His playing was more European . I still like the more American influenced albums a lot though
I love his Lee Jackson preamp tone too

Absolutely Tech...I literally like everything he did, and I cant say that about many players.

I usually draw the line right after Hate Crew. But then they starting picking back up again with Halo of Blood! I do miss the hell out of him also
