I love my JVm 205 head, does everything I need it to do. It covers alot of the ground that my superbass and 2203 never could in that it sounds good at any volume so small gigs are fine, I can run straight into the amp and play a set no problem, and it has awesome onboard reverb. Not to mention the clean tone is great for a channel switcher and it has footswitchable master volumes.
However it does not have THAT sound cranked like my older marshalls I had, but so what I can just play an older marshall for that.

Channel 3 in yellow mode . The only dial I would adjust is the gain . I use my guitar volume for cleaner parts and split coils for stuff also . We play some classic rock all the way to modern rock like Hinder & Shinedown .
