I wanted a triaxis for the longest time. But went down the path of a getting a Roadster as my first real amp then added an Axe Fx II and eventually a Mark V. The triaxis always seemed great on paper, and I would be second in line for a reborn version since first spot has already been claimed. But in the Axe II and now the Axe III, the triaxis models sit behind the IV and IIC+ models for me. The IV and IIC+ models also beat out the lead channel in the V for me when comparing with a reactive load box, which is why I eventually got rid of it. But I regret not being able to keep the V around because I never appreciated how good and irreplaceable channel 2 was until I did not have it anymore. Crunch in particular was my favorite, Mark I was great too, and tweed from channel 1 is also special. I have not found any close enough replacements to these tone in anything that I have tried in the Axe, real amps, or in through demo videos (although I would love to try to see if one of the Wizards could do the trick). So give channel 2 some love from me and tell her that I miss her and am sorry for taking her for granted.
