Roy oversaw the building of my plexi, and he gave me some mods to the stock plexi circuit that he uses in the Variplex -and he gave me the caps to use and a few other things - so mine is pretty much a Blankenship.

Sozo's, but my plexi ended up a part 1987 / JTM45 hybrid. Mercury transformers too. It's definitely my funnest amp to play, maybe my favorite amp I ever heard.

It sucks man... Makes me play 4 hours straight which makes my hands hurt... I hate it




To be honest, it might be the first amp ever that I couldn't form an accurate opinion (as in, my opinion didn't change after playing for a few days) in the first few minutes. First time I've played it I was a bit : "It's good but... something... ermmm..." then it was "damn this is pretty good" then I was
I think it's about adjusting ears. I'm really not used to the brit sound and it's starting to grow in me.

I doubt I will have everything by then My line up will completely change by that time, the only thing I know for sure I will have then is my Bogner XTC and the Blankenship Variplex which should be completed around that time. Just offering since I know a lot of the stuff I have now will go out the door within the month
