I was about to order a guitar t-shirt on FB

Filled everything out, and then it asked me how much I want to tip the staff to make them feel appreciated, started at 15%.

Closed my browser.

WTF? Does anyone just do their job for the agreed upon wage anymore?
You gotta wonder how many stupid pricks went ahead and ordered a shirt and tipped them.

I've noticed when I order Papa John's (the ultimate best pizza bar none) and select carryout cuz I refuse to pay ridiculous delivery fees AND a tip, they ask what I want to tip....motherfucker, not tipping is the point of me getting off my ass to go get it!

I live on tips. It can represent a good portion of my gig $. I always tip servers and bartenders. I even tip my soundman unless he/she is trash. It builds good will and can lead to new gigs or free drinks when I need it most. I'm not tipping someone selling t-shirts on facebook or anywhere else online tho, lol.

I tip wait staff, servers and bartenders; Uber and cab drivers.

If I have to wait in line to order, serve myself, toss my trash, etc., - basically self-service, I don't tip.

If I go to a coffee shop, I get regular dark roast coffee, and a cold donut, muffin, scone, etc. I waited in line; you poured coffee, and put food on a plate; I clean my table when I'm done. I'm not tipping you for that. If I have you make espresso for me, I'll tip you for that.
