I watched a dude rip it on a cheap bullet last nite

I saw a guy last month in a country cover group, and he was similarly ripping it up with a CV Tele and a Peavey Classic 30. Wasn’t close enough to view his pedal board. He sounded great.

I never realized how much I missed having a strat around till I built mine.

Everyone needs a les paul

especially the people who say they don't like les pauls, they are who needs a les paul the most, because 99 times out of a hundred, they haven't played one that really jived with them - it might be a hondo, it might be an EII eclipse, it might be an r9, it might be a junior, but there will be one les paul style that they really bond with. There always is.
Big disagree coming at it from a different angle; played a LP for years until I sold it to get a Suhr which became my main guitar for about 15 years, went back to a LP that I'd recently bought and hated it for the one gig I did with it so it got sold. Really couldn't believe how I used to get on with that bad fret access at the top, the G constantly going out of tune (A problem on literally every LP I've played live or in a shop) and not having the in-between sounds on pos 2 and 4.

Obviously they look and sound amazing but I'd never not play a Strat style guitar now, just makes so much sense for me.
