Ha yeah back in the day, he took the lp deluxe , pulled the minis, and put a seymour hot p90 in the bridge and sd vintage in the neck. I picked up a used Chinese epi lp and ran that same combo for a while but the sd hot p90 was too muddy and compressed for me.
I settled on an A4 p90 set from Fralin with just a bump above stock for the wind. @Music&Chaos also rocks the A4 p90s. Its a great combination.
