I would have to say it was quite entertaining, the singer had definitely studied DLR and did all his stage antics, Kicks jumps and even sounded quite authentic, the singer bounced around just like DLR and he sang a bit better than DLR sang live 1983/1984. The band was pretty tight and they played on par with the 1983-84 Halen IMHO. Overall it was a fun show and they did a respectable job playing all the Halen tunes from VH-1 through 1984 only. Nothing past 1984.
The guitar players tone was decent but it was gainier tone, he ran two real 4x12 cabs and 4 dummy 4x12 cabs but his tone was good, I guess it to be something like and EVH 5153 amp or Kemper/Fractal as I didn't hear alot of harmonic feedback when he held notes, but it was a good EVH tone nonetheless. I walked behind the stage after the show and didn't see an amp anywhere that was obvious.
It was a fun show and if you like VH I think you would enjoy this rendition of tributes out there.
