What's next? Since the Diezel is gone and i also bought the Ibanez 808 HW V2 i gotta make a comparison to the Deadweald Duality DX.
The difference is much smaller on a recording than i thought. It's mostly a feel thing. Soundwise the 808 is a bit livelier with a bit more sparkling highs and the low end compresses a bit more, maybe because of the 9 Volt vs the 36 Volt of the DAE. It's a bit like old, dull strings (DAE) vs new Strings (808).
In the room it's much more obvious and a feel thing. I feel very comfortable with the 808, but the DAE is still nice.
I have a buyer for the DAE, but i don't know if i should sell it. I'd probably never get one again. On the other hand: I don't keep anything that i don't use. Hard choice.
The Clip conists of:
1: In a Mix
2: Double tracked
3: Noodling

Fwiw, i will stick to the DAE. Like so often, new items are interesting for a few days and that's it.
I will start gasing again in a few days. So stay tuned 😂

Will listen later. Was on the hunt for a DAE for a while and would still like to try one. I always end up back with an SD-1 or Koko though.
The DAE is cool. But very hard to get. I was lucky to snag one, while Daniel was still in Business.
No interest for the 808 HW V2 here, it seems.

You should try this! One of my favorite boosts made by our man Waye!

Do you have Clips? :)
Not yet. That pedal is at my buddy's house at the moment. I'm using it for my 5153 50w stealth. I'll try and get the pedal this weekend and make a clip or two. If I make a clip, please be gentle on the comments as I've never really done any hardcore recording like some of you!

No worries. :) The 5150III series are one of the few Amps i did not need a boost with though. I played the Standard 50 Watter for a while. Does your pedal have a Noise Gate built in?

No, but I did try the precision drive with the 5153 and didn't like it. I'm just running an NS2 with whatever OD I've tried. Keeping gain around 2 o'clock on blue and around 9 o'clock on the red.
