That’s where the law is tricky. Local PD in sanctuary areas don’t enforce immigration because it is not in their purview.
If they break the law in any way aside from immigration, police will deal with them the same as anyone else. “Sanctuary” does not mean they can just do what they want.

I’d say the biggest reason would be lack of work here. It’s a pretty expensive place to live, and neither the jobs nor government assistance are usually enough to get by

So, no practical experience with law. Got it. Reading something, comprehending it, and then having practical experience with something is how someone can proclaim any knowledge of said subject. You don't qualify for any of those. Maybe just stick to your Highlights magazine.
