The mods there are complete garbage. They allow the turds that jack each other off in the pub constantly post political shit but if you remark on it all of a sudden they run to their hall monitor like a bunch of girls and some lefty shithead mod swoops in to ban you for 'making it political.'

The pub used to have some funny stuff, now it's 50% turdposters screeching about Elog Musk and 50% some boomer talking about his bunions, food posting, how some comic book movie is cool or some shit.
 
I just stick to the pub. Some posters in the pub annoy me but for the most part I like the regulars. If they annoy me enough I just put them on 'ignore' and then I never have to deal with their bullshit. It's great!

There are some really cool people there, though. And some dank fuckin sound clips bein posted too.

Also mostly impotent. I got a ban for saying “erections have ended a lot of marriages”. They said “impotence is no laughing matter!”

And I said “well I agree but this was clearly a comment on infidelity”

And then they just wrote back “all posts must be PG13”. Lol

That pg13 rule is pretty vague, seeing how there are movies with pg13 rating that should have 'r' rating, and there are movies with pg rating that should be pg-13.

Also, I've never worked for a censorship board, so why should that level of nuance be thrust upon me without a second thought? What's obvious to one person sure isn't to another. I've been banned for 'nothing' reasons too, as far as I'm concerned. Although I will say I've been banned for good reasons, too.

Big reason why I stay out of Effects is because my knee jerk reaction is to verbally dress down the drooling idiots that regular that area. I'd be absolutely permabanned if I ever acted on my strongest impulses in those moments.
