I can't say that's a bad choice at all. Honorable mention goes to Master of Puppets, IMO.

I'll be right back, some dude in a car pulled up and told me I need to kill some Mary chick, and get the priest as well. Pretty random, if I do say so myself.

she's a risk

So many of those bands started in the late 70's or Han big influences from then too.

Apparently, a lot of bands that were big in the 1990s (particularly punk, grunge, and "alternative") were actually bands from the 1980s.

The Number of the Beast and Shout at the Devil weren't too bad either.

Oh man, so many incredible albums came out in that time period. There is no way that I could nail one down as "The Best"

I think Operation: Mindcrime and Rust in Peace were the two best "metal" albums of those times.

My favorites are "There and Back" (Beck), "Guitar Shop" (Beck) and "Tones" (EJ), but then again, I'm totally biased.

As far as metal for me it would have to be Master Of Puppets.

Blasphemous, I don't care. I wore out two copies of this in the Alpine head unit I had in my old 1984 Ford Escort. Religion and Sex are Power Plays, Indeed!

I saw hem open for Def Leppard on the first leg of the Hysteria tour in Atlanta. They were awesome.
