In a tight spot, need to move some gear

Hey Guys,
Girlfriend decided to sell her house and move on without me so I'm currently looking to buy a house of my own. Her games for the last 8 years have caused nothing but grief for me and affected business too many times. Moving forward with some much needed change. Considering eventually moving south and getting my old ass out of this cold, snowy hell.

For anyone with work here, it will be wrapped up within the next week or two so this won't affect anyone like it did last time I moved. There's only 3 right and they're almost done. I had a lot more work here when that bullshit went down. I started with 30 amps I had to finish that time.

I have some stuff in the classified section with lower prices and a bunch of stuff on my web site. If you're in my area I have guitars and cabs available. I'm dealing, not ready to give it all away yet, but I'm open to offers on certain pieces.

Sorry to hear that Jerry, I've been there too... but with a WIFE! Be thankful you weren't married or married with kids. I have friends that are living with their parents at 50 years old because the courts have mandated outrageous amounts of money in the divorce decrees and the ex-wives continue to demand more and more money as they prove themselves unable to support themselves many years after the divorce was finaled. These are professional women like Registered Nurses and such. She makes sure that she loses her jobs to show the court how helpless she is and of course it's the EX-husband's responsibility to take care of this helpless crazy creature for the rest of her life. Oppp's sorry for the rant, good luck with your move I hope it goes well for you.

I was a zombie for a few months and thought I was going to go insane trying to analyze everything in my life. I finally said "screw it, what's the worst that can happen?". I kept the house and now have a KISS memorabilia room with guitars and other crap and just picked up a Roland TD-25KV drumkit. Bring on the midlife crisis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm finally getting what my friends said when they told me "it will get better, you can do this!!". I'm getting there and you will too Jerry!!

I did the divorce thing 25 years ago, it did get better. It was better for 19 years and then it got worse again! Some guys never learn. I'm sure it will get better and I'll be buying some new toys before too long.

Hahahaha I wish I got half! 19 years of taking care of her house and making improvements and I walk away with zero. I get my stuff, but not a penny from my home for the last 19 years. I get to start all over again at 54 with nothing but some guitar gear.
Another life lesson learned the hard way!
For you younger guys, listen to your parents, they're not stupid!!!

Never met you before Jerry, but I’m just over a year removed from a failed 10-year marriage. Eventually everything suffered. My career (I make money writing software. Nothing to do with guitars or music lol) suffered. My guitar playing (wasn’t in a band over 90% of that time. By the last year we were so drained financially with her spending I literally stopped buying nice things for myself like guitar strings).

As difficult as the breakup was, I’m still getting over it a year after the papers are final. I’ve just learned to focus on positives. For us here, it’s putting back money to buy gear I want, having time to practice every night etc.

It’s a long process but well worth the future ahead of you. No one in this world is better off in a controlling, abusive, etc relationship than alone.
