  When I saw the thread that James posted earlier about trying the CCV, I was going to be a wise guy and ask how it sounded playing BATM.  BTW, it sounds just fine playing that song.

Cameron CCV Prototype, Clean, Crunch and Dirty...

Alright Brad, you beat the clock and delivered clips on Monday......

I imagine there are more to come, given that Mark did not make an appearance in that clip?

I think it sounds cool but to be honest I dont love it .but thats my taste some of the hi gain lead clips are good and again its a clip on the internet sure it sound much better in person

sounds right to me ! nice.... JCJ told me you guys were running my speaker setup in that cameron cab cl80 h30 anny x pattern, what is the consensus ? I find with the mix that the 80's tighten up the sound a bit and smooth out some of the shrillness when you go to cut to a solo... especially at stage volumes. . . .

good job guys

How about dialing in the axe2 and the ccv similar. Record 2 clips same guitar and parts. See who can guess which is which? Should be easy to pick out the pod sounding processed one no?

I liked the distorted tones of the CCV, obviously, Duhhhh
I was expecting a little more, maybe it was the recording, or just the anxiety to finally hear one of these mythical creatures, I dunno. It was good but it didn't make me GAS for one...

I didn't like the clean nor mildly distorted gain tones. It would be cool to have a single channel tone monster. I guess I'll have to wait till the Aldrich and Ocean amps appear in that format...

Why is that fail? New axe fx has a ccv inside correct? Let's see if it can live up to the hype? You have the proto of both in the same place, both still unreleased. And the Friedman brown eye. Maybe shoot out in Lugo's studio?
Latest and greatest tube amp vs. latest and greatest modeler. Sounds like a good idea to me.

That sounded pretty damn cool! The cleans weren't quite to my liking, as they still had a little dirt and a "hard" sound to them.

I spoke to Dave for awhile about this amp. The way he described it to me is exactly what I'm hearing in these clips. The high gain sounds are excellent and very hot and present. I'd like to hear the CCV through some G12 65s or a H30/CL80 mix to give it just a touch more fluidity and bounce and take a bit of that hardness away. Awesome and versatile amp, and in the top several amps that I'm interested in right now, along with a Friedman BE and Hagen.

Thanks guys
