We are working on it, chassis are a bit delayed which is out of our control (Had to redesign them all to accommodate the Midi and the line out on the back). Hoping for starting to ship amps in June as planned. We will see, make no mistake we doing all possible to get them in boxes and on stages

i always goofed with mark that he should call my custom mod he's been doing for me the "diaz"

cameron diaz modded marshall haha :D shit i'd bite, i love her!

Video demonstrates why the CCV is still the grail of modded marshall amps.....oh not to be poor! \m/

Does the cab have the standard config of Cameron speakers (G12H30s?) or not..sounds a tad different.

Sounds great as expected. I have to say, Rob's sense of humor is awesome. I can tell he's a smart ass just like me.

So is it the "punch" knob that acts a feedback control...ie loosens/stiffens the amp or is it the gain style switches?
Had that on a HG Jose Cameron marshall but it didn't make that big of a difference.

Hey guys, a few comments:

I'm not playing through the VHT or the 4X12's. I have an EAW NT59 wedge on the floor in front of me. You can see it at the beginning of the video when Mark pans to the left.

He used an Edirol recorder for sound. It's sitting behind me on one of the cabinets.

On the lead tone, the only effect is delay. The swells are the same delay with some reverb added. I believe the clean patch in the beginning is only delay as well, but I may have added reverb. No other effects.

This was not pre-arranged. I had gone down to check out the II and the guys asked me if they could record some clips because people had been asking for clean tones, etc.

Yeah, I've always worn my guitar high. And with the 100 or so pounds I've gained over the years, it's crept even higher. :)

Thanks to all for the kind words.

Excellent video. Loved the tone and playing.

Sign me up for a "diaz" mod. That is a mod that nothing can emulate, only the real thing. :D

Re: some of the comments above.....

Guys, let's not right off a $3,500 amp made by a tone monster based on a clip recorded with a video camera and an amp dialed in to a few players' particular styles and tonal tendencies.

The tone controls on the CCV allow it to cover a wide range of styles. Brad told me straight up that the clean channel can go from crystal clean, through mild break up and right into heavy crunch territory. Again, one clip does not a comprehensive review make!

Just wait until someone gets a clip of a mic'ed cabinet - I think that will change some of your minds as to what this beast can REALLY do.

Lookind forward to seeing the delivery truck, Brad!

You're right on the money with the range of the amp.

When I plugged in, those were Mark Day's settings, and I was just screwing around. I didn't even know it was being recorded for the first thirty seconds.

When Mark Cameron was dialing while I was playing, it sounded like it would have when I dial my own (he knows the general settings/sound I go for).

I'm sure there will be MANY more clips/vids for people who want to hear different sides of the amp, and there are a TON of things it will do exceptionally well.

Sounds freakin fantastic. The CCV sounds like it was made for searing mids and percussive licks, awesome.
