tc8849- How's the pickup working out for you?
Or did you decide to put the EMG 81 back in? You know, the one you sold to me from the members classified section and confirmed payment for. The one you said you would ship out LAST MONDAY?

No replies to my PM's, no communication? What's up with that dude? You have been back on RT several times, even today. Still no reply.

You have my money. Where's my pickup and wiring?
Why don't you man up?
Or are you just a thief?

Email Wade at Motor City and ask what he recommends for height.

Hey Guys!! Thanks for all the nice praises! I like to start my pickup height at 2mm on the bass side from the top of the screw head to the bottom of the string and 2.5mm on the high side as this is near flat across the board and fine tune to taste from there. Also, you really can't get a humbucker too close as the magnets are underneath as opposed to a strat design where the magnet is sitting right underneath the string with a much greater pull on the string restricting the movement. With the humbucker, you get much more output the closer they are and also can murk or muddy up your signal but magnet interference minimal with humbuckers unless you are using an extremely thick magnet. Start with these guidelines and adjust to taste : )
Peace, and happy holidays- Wade- MCP
