I put up a few things I had laying around on craigslist over the weekend. One was a Mod102 amp that I built a few months ago and the other was a Plexi build that was basically a mojotone 2204 reworked into a Superlead spec. The plexi build wasnt functional but the tubes were getting proper power and it powered on with no noise. Probably an easy fix but I am focusing on a couple other projects and wanted to free up some space. So I posted it on craigslist not thinking anyone would buy either one especially the non working Marshall kit. Someone offered to buy the mod102 then they ended up buying the Marshall kit build instead then as soon as I got home I had an email from Jerry from FJA wanting to purchase it. I really wish I could have sold it to him so I could meet him and possibly have a source for mod work locally. Anyway he said he is hoping to start back up this Summer. A bit later last night someone bought the Mod102 amp off me. I've had other stuff of higher quality listed for months with no bites but two things I didnt think would sell sold within 8 hours.
Today I got to work and I had a Ceriatone 2204 without the transformers and a classic tone choke waiting for me at work. Hoping to get them installed tomorrow. Then next week I have a V2 Caldera kit showing up mid week. John has been awesome to work with and I cant wait to hear how this one sounds. I've already finished the main PCB board. The documentation I've gotten so far has been top notch and much better detail than mojotone or valvestorm. I'm very much a noob at doing builds but I feel pretty confident thanks to his documentation and support. At anyrate Im pretty excited for the next week or so. Since being down to one amp lately Im looking forward to having some variety.
