Yeah, mine is the 50w head. I like it for its cleans and because it is super quiet. Still has the Recto grunt and sounds great with the Dual together. Can't speak to bypassing reverb but I just removed the tank
Not aware of a capacitor change for the loop but wouldn't surprise me. If mine has any less bass it is for the better because it is already bass heavy as you know. The C mod really cleaned all of this up and made it tighter for sure. Here the notes from what my tech guy did to mine if you are interested:

Buddy came over and played with the TOV.
Here's an ambientish clip, Suhr Modern, Carl Martin Timmons compressor, flanger, KOT, EQD Dispatch Master, looper into clean channel.
He's quite persnickety about his gain sound, preferring fluid, saturated, ez to play, and thoroughly enjoyed the modern channel with a TS.

Been exploring heavier sounds with the TOV.
Late 90s - early 2000s sounding:

Hard not to love the old 2 channel Rectos. I dress mine up with EL34s for a slightly different flavor. There’s no wrong way.

I was talking with the band last night at band practice about this. Is the Tremoverb or Triple Rectifier G better for what we do ?

Being originally (and kind of still) a Marshall guy, I like what 34’s do to the dirty sounds in my T Verb, but you definitely lose good characteristics in the clean channel. I’m actually using the clean channel a fair bit these days so I leave it 6L6 and just embrace the true recto sound on the dirty stuff.
If I could be really gluttonous I’d get a second T Verb to leave 34’s in.

I do like the 6L6 clean and sometimes miss it with the EL34s, but TBH I almost never use my revision G’s clean channel regardless of tube arrangement. I tend to use the orange vintage gain with low drive settings and like the EL34s in that capacity.
The idea of a stereo recto setup with both sounds like a lot of fun though. Brings me back to my Incubus days.

The clean channel on the T Verb is much more useable than a regular 2 channel. If I had a regular 2 channel I’d definitely would have 34’s in it.

I ran EL34 in my Tremoverb for about 20 years. Last decade back to 6L6.
I always keep a set of each and mess around occasionally.
EL34 in the Triple and 6L6 in the Tremoverb would be interesting. I pretty much use single amp rigs these days.
