Other fun classes where studying counted was Philosophy and Critical Thinking/Reasoning and flashcards are ones best friend there too.
This was way way before ChatGPT. We used LexisNexis and actual Archives to learn and get a real education *_*
I forgot which I took first but remember I passed both with an A. Philosophy was pretty good and for the final we got grouped with another person by random to debate a topic. I think mine was if God was real or not so I had to prove that God was real and the other person had to prove God wasnt real.... More along the lines of did God create the universe or not and is he real... Forgot exactly but yeah.
It kind of sucked because I'm not the church type of dude or superstitious type but I decided to come at the problem or better put, the question from a strictly objective point of view.
Ultimately I defined God as a force with infinite power. And what can cause the creation of the universe if God didn't exist or a force with infinite power didn't exist?!?!?!
Nature/The Universe shows us as well as the great master Aristotle did that you can't have a cause without an effect.....
The Hubble Telescope shows us and science shows us that the universe is ever expanding infinitely nvm cosmic acceleration or cosmic inflation or multiverse theory either that comes a a result for example. This is observable thanks to redshift as well but was understood even more so thanks to the Hubble Telescope.
Hawkings and Quantum Mechanics also showed us that the universe spontaneously could have and may easily come from "nothing"......
If the universe by nature was caused by an event that allows it to infinitely expand thanks to cosmic acceleration/inflation as is observable and we can also look at signs and cues from the topology of the universe that this is the case that the cause is one thanks to an infinite power......
Given observations of the universe the cause(s) of the universe is/are as a result of an infinite power, the effect(s) of this cause is/are infinite.....
Therefore not only does God/infinite power exist but God/infinite power also created the universe as nature shows given cause and effect........... I also went into some other conversations about yes cosmic inflation also suggest the end of the universe at some point and even the destruction of space/time itself and essentially back to "nothing"......
But again Hawkings suggest that the universe can spontaneously arise from "nothing"........ And since time doesn't exist outside of spacetime/the universe...... You have an occasion where again the moment one universe ends another begins.... Maybe simultaneously one can say because time as said doesn't exist outside of spacetime/the universe or one after the other or both.
Anyways infinite universes or multiverse theory and again what has the power to do such a thing other than God or an infinite power
It also goes hand in hand with cosmic inflation too and what is observable thanks to the Hubble Space Telescope.... Old stuff but amazing.
It sure ain't no James Webb Telescope of course but the Hubble really went places no else could have imagine before and discovered things no one ever thought possible. Anyways that was a good one and yeah I got an A on the final too and the Professor was pretty impressed as well *_*
