The other day my internet stalker signed up here with a fake nick. I have always been transparent online. After all, these are guitar and gear forums...not nuclear secrets. So I am real easy to find online. He thinks he is anonymous.

The irony is a few years ago the same person did exactly the same thing at a different board. It didn't take much effort to discover who he actually is in real life.

How would you handle an internet stalker?

Had a jolt last night: private family text group was infiltrated by an outsider…someone unknown to all of us started posting and asking questions, pretending to be a long-lost distant family member and of course had access to personal conversations and information exchanged in the past.
The reveal: when a member of our group got a new phone, they didn’t keep their old number so that number was given to someone else, our mystery texter.
