Howdy- OnePingOnly here or "OPO" lol.

Retirement age (some may say), stage and studio guitarist for decades, been through both medical and financial calamities and made it through both; thankful to still be here as "I'M NOT DONE YET", and starting from scratch in many ways..and one of those ways is gear. Have credibility on fleabay as a buyer and seller, and a few purchases on Reverb.

Been blessed with many great pieces of gear along the way- Gibsons, Fenders, PRS (80's originals as well as later models) TomAnderson Guitarworks DropTops; I was the first guy in the city to own the new SDE-3000 when it came out in the 80's; Amps were '75 JMP & Plexi Reissue Marshall, Soldano HR50+, Mesa Quad Preamp and Ada-based rack rigs, and so on, in a wet/dry/wet setup powered by a 120/120 Classic Peavey tube power amp.

Right now for the immediate past and present I've had the Atomic Amplifier 12, a PRS USA SilverSky- but the SS, as good as it is, and it's a STELLAR guitar, isn't so much my normal "voice" with those amazing singlecoils it has. I'm much more a humbucker guy.

I was hoping to acquire something here, but it appears that I need 50 posts and have two-step ID verification enabled to even participate in the classifieds, even to buy. If there is some sort of option or work-around I'd be grateful.

Meanwhile, as tech has progressed so far fwd in the last 10+ years, I've had to rethink, and WELCOME the options we have today.

NGD!!! I've a Heritage Cust Shop Core H-150 being delivered today (I bet it meets, if not exceeds my previous Historic R8 loaded with JM Rolph's pickups, etc); and am working on the game plan for my new, modern rig. Hoping to glean wisdom and guidance here as I put this thing together.

Looking fwd to hangin' with y'all. Oh, I just enabled two-step verification. No, not that kind of two step...snort.

Is it soup yet?

Thank you, Monkey Man! BTW, it's NGD here (ahem- technically used but it looks MINT). It's an astounding guitar. I've owned many LP's including my last one that was a R8 historic. This far exceeds it in lighter weight (7.8 lbs), playability and build quality. I'm stunned. I in no way am inciting a Gibson vs Heritage debate here, so please EVERYONE just be happy that I'm thrilled with it so far- I've not yet had a chance to plug it in...tomorrow I will. Maybe this is the wrong thread for it, but here's a few dealer pics of my acquisition:

That's precisely my objective. There's something in there I wish to acquire and right now I'm hamstrung. snort.
 
You can make those 50 posts as quickly as you like.

Only thing is, don't just post 5 word sentences like a spammer. Engage with the community.
 
Whats up everyone? Just checking in to say I changed my username but not trying to pull one over anyone. I was rekonizefull and then PharmaLee at the other site. Here I was jeopardizedtool, but I wanted a name that didn't sound like an STD reference. So I changed it this morning. I see a lot of folks here that I have been wondering where they got off to, so its good to see those of you that i kind of know.

No, the newer name was just something to replace the old one. I mean I support big pharma, I'm a fan of the products but not the practices. Still, they can make a reliable product and that counts for something!

Do I get some emojis after I get my red wings?
 
Been a member of this site for a looooong time. Just never posted much, trying to get my post count up so I can trade with other members!

Also this forum is a little more in sync with my tastes compared to TGP. Sevenstring.org is another decent forum I check in on from time to time. Happy to hear any other recommendations.

Sucks that forums largely went down the gurgler when facebook took over everything 😑
