Many men buy and sell gear without ever realizing it's not the gear that is the problem.
 
Like ive mentioned before....I wish I could own a real Diezel, SLO, Bogner XTC with 4x12s and the such but it would be stupid and ridiculous for me to even think of that. Im not in a band, dont gig, jam occasionally and mostly play and record in my home studio where I need volume control. I believe most guitar consumers fit my profile which is why the AXE2 is such a great product. This is the closest Ill get to having a VH4, Jubillee and a SLO. Just cost me 2K!
 
And I've said it before and I'll say it again.

For a singular purchase at the price it is with the tech in has? Hands down the coolest device in the world (I mean that) for offering what it does. There ain't NUTHIN wrong with it. If I had to do a stint in jail, it'd be the Axe-II I'd want as it would give me time to learn all its ins and outs and parameters and magic. It's a guitar thing, but it's also an engineering/producing thing. It's big.

What about new amps based on old amps that offer similar if not identical tone to amps already out there bieng referred to as "game changers"?

Next month it'll be back to "tonal characteristics of expensive cables and leads versus Planet Waves".

That'll be a trend setter for sure. Games will change.
 
It's weird how people selling gear comes in waves... When I was looking to buy my new guitar earlier this year I set up an eBay email alert for 1987 Desert Yellow RG550's there were a ton on sale and a ton going up every week, bit above my price point at the time, but there were a lot... The last month or so looking to buy a new guitar I was waiting for one, any one, to pop up on eBay with no luck! I used to get 2 or 3 new ones every day in my email!

Silly people not selling stuff...

Valid. But I was already compensating for this. Being a self admitted basketcase means I self-study a great deal.

But whatever, no big deal...people buy, people sell, life moves on, and more importantly is just shut up n' play guitar :yes:
