Just browsed the FAS classifieds site...

Of the 20 posts given on the first page, 7 involve the selling of an Axe-FX.

I'm telling ya, there's something cycling out there as this is definitely "trend" worthy.

Not hatin', not fanboi'in, just sayin'...

Out of the 20 posts on the first page, there are 4 Axe2's & 2 Ultras for sale. Don't see a problem.....

The Fractal forum is one of the obvious go to places for anyone to list their Axe for sale.

Christmas is coming & many folks get hard up for cash & the Axe is an easy quick sale.

Mo it is ok to admit you are missing your Axe II   ......I just finished an awesome jam session with mine & I have a KPA & six great tube amps around me......

Did you sell your CLRs??? I just got a new pair of the active wedges from a guy here in Miami for $1500......he loved 'em but needed Christmas cash

Keeping the CLRs, they're great for the outs on the TwoNotes products, as well as overall excellent monitors. Add a sub and they're incredible for everything from Omnisphere to SuperiorDrummer.

Haven't missed the Axe-II whatsoever. Having so much more quality time with an amp and cab. But hey, no big, tastes change, music and music making is all personal preference. I have been expanding my Bogner library though...but this is a worthy cause :D

A sub..nice. I've been thinking about getting one for my pair as well. Which one are thinking Mo?

About a year ago I decided no matter how hard I tried I couldn't totally enjoy the modeling solutions... even the high end ones like the AxeFX or Kemper which was the last one I owned. I went back to amps and cabs and the total enjoyment was there again. I used my POD HD for silent playing and or recording which just OK for that but now that I have the 5153 50 watt that I can make silent buy putting a headphone adapter in the jack and using the "pre amp" out to the Two Notes" my silent solution became damn near perfect.

Man gear wise its cool time to be playing.

Like ive mentioned before....I wish I could own a real Diezel, SLO, Bogner XTC with 4x12s and the such but it would be stupid and ridiculous for me to even think of that. Im not in a band, dont gig, jam occasionally and mostly play and record in my home studio where I need volume control. I believe most guitar consumers fit my profile which is why the AXE2 is such a great product. This is the closest Ill get to having a VH4, Jubillee and a SLO. Just cost me 2K!

That is exactly why I own one. I've saved thousands of dollars from the old days when I kept trading amps to get the flavor of the month. Now, I just turn a knob when my ADHD kicks in. :)

That was my transition exactly. I can't say anything bad about the A2, and will likely get another down the road. But for now? Amps, cabs, all day long... They just sound right.

Modeler into power amp and guitar cab is the best solution for me.

All the benefits of the modeling + all the benefits from the "amp in the room" sound and feel.
