title says it all...should i do this trade?

Framus for the D60 + Marshall 1960A cab

and yes...i love my cobra. but a guy sent me a offer i am very tempted by.

Tell me about the D60...

value wise it seems pretty even :)

I hate the VHT Deliverance though.....don't ask why, just didn't like it at all!

However, I dig the pitbull VHT's :)

I would pass. I like the Pittbulls a LOT, love my CLX. I don't think the value is right either, but I'm a snob when it comes to my Cobra. That SHOULD be going for $1700+ all day long on the used market.

+1

nah man i'd probly hold out for a different offer, unless you try the D60 and end up loving it.

I mean unless you're really looking to get rid of the cobra and want to try the d60 I'd pass.
The value is incredibly even. The D60 is about 700 and the 1960 cab is about 350-400.
However, you'd be going from a big ticket item to two really meh items.
The deliverance is great but the D120 is better and not much more used. The 1960a is the worst possible cab to pair with that.

I'd only do it if I wanted a simple single channel and less br00thul amp and didn't have a good cab already

Depends on what kind of music you play. I had a D120 which actually was one of the better sounding amps I've played recently, I kind of regret getting rid of it  D60 is a simple to use, 1 channel amp, it can be completely figured out and dialed in in 5 minutes. Very tight and full sounding with a lot of tones inside. The drawback is, if you play super heavy modern metal the D60 won't get you there IMO. The voicing is nowhere near as modern as the Cobra.

You know what my vote would be...I hated my D60 and I hate the 1960 cabs.

Sounds like he got the amp then bought the cab and hated his setup because the cab is so shit.

Honestly, I'd pass. it's a good 3 channel amp for a good single channel amp and a mediocre at best cab.

If a VHT Pitbull UltraLead comes along then think differently ofcourse.
