our government has some interesting contingency plans. I've seen some odd things in my 22 year career. if the shit hits the fan so be it. nothing I can control. I'm more worried about the magnetic pole shift completing its cycle than anything else. Supposedly happened previously about 6 times. Earth spins at about a 1000 mph....it suddenly stops while everything....oceans and atmosphere continue to travel at that speed. 2 mile high tsunami globally. Winds that make f5 hurricanes and tornadoes look like a fart. Not to mention imagine sitting where you are and your suddenly launched at 1000 mph in whatever direction the earth was spinning...along with everything else.....SPLAT!!!! Then the axis changes. Half the planet is in the dark and super cold, the other half super heated in the light.....all this is supposed to last for 6 days they estimate. Sorry for the left field rambling post, but I do think it's pretty fascinating stuff......

every so many millenia. I'm thinking that's what the more fringe geologists and archaeologists are saying....just like the Atlantis theory being in the middle of the sahara...with very convincing evidence....I'll post a couple vids....really interesting stuff....

I remember learning about it in Physical Geology back in college with the magnetic signature in the expansion of the continental rift.

Our teacher was a total badass and didn’t fuck around. We would study small samples of rocks all year, and then when it came time for the exam he would pass around these huge fucking boulders. No one knew what to do because they weren’t these nice little homogeneous samples they studied all year. He’d say too bad you aren’t getting those in the field, figure it out or I’ll see you next semester. He was furious when he found out that his lab science class only transferred as a history credit!

I had a comparative anatomy professor who was both a raging genius as well as being a raging dickhead. Our tests were a body part of something that we had to figure out exactly. Human tibia? left or right?.......frog heart.....shark liver(which was easy btw)...etc.....

Was just thinking, the loudest known event in recorded history is the Krakatoa volcano popping.
Made a ship full of guys' ears bleed 50 miles away and shock waves were recorded circling the
planet for 7 days.

I'd imagine something like this would eclipse that pretty easily.

Not yet because the last time one happened was well before modern day electronic/magnetic usage so there are theories the next one could significantly disrupt modern day computer/electronic systems. Who knows. I’ll probably be too busy at a youth soccer/football/basketball game or birthday party.

I've noticed that a lot of the people that say to wake up are the same ones that give other people shit for being woke.
