$2300 for a Peavey 3120, AKA XXX without the mudflap girls? Sadly there's 2 separate listings at that price. It's a cool amp and all, but these things used to sell for like $200 all day long. Either used gear has become super valuable or someone at Guitar Center has lost their damn mind.

Used to be $600 all day long. Still sounded like a can of bees….

I traded a 3120 for a Marshall 1960AV or whatever, the one that came with their V30s. After the initial honeymoon wore off, I did not care for that amp and traded it, along with a guitar, for my old Budda SD45 3/4 stack back.

Guarantee the first one was a typo and the 2 was added on the end by accident. Second one was someone swooping in "You have one listed for $2300, I'll take $1200 for mine." That's exactly how you take advantage. I was selling an amp a few years ago for $2500, no offers local or Reverb. GC had the same model listed for $3500+/-. I brought mine to a GC and they offered me $2300 and put it up for $3499. Easy. They sat on it for a LONG time. :D

Cool amp for sure but I think they accidently added an extra $0 on the end, and then when the next one came in the GC employee looked it up in there system and simply copy pasted the price.

There is a JSX local to me for $600 at the moment. I should probably buy it just to try out.

That's why I love shopping at GC in the stores and on their site. You can find totally mislabeled or mispriced stuff. No serious mom and pop or vintage store makes those kinds of mistakes. I walked into the local GC about 10 yrs ago and they were packing up a blue EBMM EVH they had just sold on the website for $1000. They had it listed as an Axis, and $1000 would have been a good price for an Axis too.
