So I called on the $2299.99 one asking if it was a typo because I wanted to buy it if it was meant to be $229.99 or $299.99 but he looked into it on the phone with me and admitted a new employee took it in and in fact gave the seller way too much for it, around $1,300 for it. My guess is the other one came in after and someone selling was like well you have another listed for this much and they rolled with it possibly.

This is the problem with GC and their used department. They refuse to hire people that have a clue. I see this nonsense all the time. It's pure ignorance is what it is.

Then, in their infinite wisdom, they want to knowingly charge more than 3 times what it's worth because of a mistake, thinking they'd actually get it? I typically see 3120's for around $600. Maybe as high as $800.

That, then every jackass on Reverb will start listing it for $2500 because of Guitar Center's fucked up price.

Oh man, I'd have pounced on that. I paid exactly the same for a 2203x just before the local Sam Ash closed its doors. It was technically used, but in new condition. Buyer took it home, passed away and his widow sold it back to the store after it sat in the house for a year. But it was basically still new.

This is yet another example of the severe entitlement that has taken over, these prices are totally out of line and companies act like they have carte blanche to do it. Do they at least give you a kiss before the F*** you?
