I've realized that it's not the Amp......

guys, I was selling the VH4 not so long ago because for "what I play" it's not cutting it........but I've gotten to the conclusion that I love this amp.....the thing is I have to STOP making it sound like it isn't.

It's NOT a Fender....it's Diezel, and I LOVE IT for what it is...... I'm begging a friend to build me the "perfect" fenderish/pop blues amp, So I can keep my VH4 and ROCK IT for what it is a Modern TONE MACHINE, not a VINTAGE tone machine.


I'd love to try the Hagen....seems to me a little bit more my thing......... but I'll try it once those hit the used market, I can't spend too much cash right now...... (paying off a new car and planning on buying a flat next year, so I gotta save cash)
 
just wanted to let you know Papa that I love this family and I don't wanna leave it :)
 
Joey, Diezels are awesome. But yeah if you like vintage tones there are other amps out there as well...
I know I'd hate to part with my Diezel, but I would not keep it if it wouldn't give me the sound I'm seeking

Yeah I know.... I won't keep an amp Im not happy with, but the thing is I DO like Diezels..... I was just doing it wrong..... I was trying to get my Diezel to sound like another amp........and that's not the answer. I'll stay in the family.......the only reason I'd sell this is to get some money which right now is short...... but I love Diezel
 
Joey, have you heard of Savage Amps? They're expertly built and fall in the realm of the classics(vox, fender) but have a unique voice of their own. Check them out for the blue/ pop stuff and keep the VH4.
