Jackson custom shop vs ESP custom shop

I know this is an old thread but ESP CS all day long! Back in the day they were both great i always tell people if you've never had the privilege to play an American jackson thsn you're missing out! But my esp original series eclipse is hands down the best guitar I've played or owned!

Oh I know looks like I’ll never get that new MX. I tried to order a star this year but they no longer do a banana headstock period. So gotta settle for a inline 6
 
Yeh, I live in Japan at the moment and the last I heard they would, begrudgingly, do an MX was around the start of the pandemic. Now you're only option is used for ~10k USD, which is a joke TBH for a simple no frills guitar. Even their true customs are now starting at around 5kUl USD for a plain jane no frills guitar.

As for the topic at hand, never had a Jackson CS, but have 9 ESP CSs and they are all perfect, not a single issue.
 
esp all day long in 2025. And I’m a J/C guy who’s had 30+ of their guitars. These days, Sully guitars are on my radar. Jon is doing some cool stuff.
 
I liked jacksons custom shop guitars alot and i owned 5 of them, 2 of them was masterbuilt, but i love my esp custom shop guitars, i sold all my jacksons to buy more esp. I also had a couple charvel custom shop that was great, but sold them too. Esp is my favorite.
