Really sucks! I've had only one questionable transaction with a gent here but that was some time ago and I got it reversed.
Other than that...if I sell here, like Steiny said above....I won't deal with them unless they have a good reference.

I feel like that is a bit unfair. When I was selling my ps100, there was a guy that reached out to me on reverb to see about doing the deal without the fees. I told him to pay pal gift me. I gave him my number and talked to him on the phone for awhile, and he looked me up on this board (he was a TGP member). But honestly, I could have stiffed him if I were a piece of shit. It worked out for both of us, cuz we saved money in fees and taxes. I believe he payed like $750 to a stranger.. These things happen.

I'm speaking specifically about, "hey, email so & so, he's got what you're looking for".. Scam.

I've personally done a gazillion deals PPL gift, both here, and TGP. Never an issue. Use common sense on who you're dealing with. Someone with 2 posts, or new members get ignored.
